This element is made of a hard material. Nail, because that's what he's talking about, characterized by this, that the hand is sharpened, on the other hand, it resembles a flat head. The nail is an element, which is designed to combine various types of elements. Most often it connects wood. The connection in question can only be achieved by frictional forces, which work along the axis of the nail, and also due to the stiffness of the so-called mandrel. In the past, the nail was characterized by this, that it was made of so-called forged copper. Later - from forged steel. As for the present moment, the nail is formed as a result of the process, which uses steel wire. As for our country, first machines, from which the discussed elements of hard material were obtained, appeared in the early nineteenth century. Now the nail is characterized by this, that it can be of different kinds. According to Polish Standards, the following types are distinguished: PN-EN 10230-1:2003, made of steel wire and PN-EN 10230-1 - these are the so-called construction nails.
