Most often, solar radiation receivers are set to work in three variants:
1) maksimum zysków w ciepłej porze roku, in months from IV to IX, e.g. domestic hot water preparation installations,
2) maksimum zysków w zimnej porze roku, in months from October to March inclusive,
3) praca całoroczna.
For the operation of collectors in the three above-mentioned periods and for the latitude of 51 ° N, an attempt was made to determine the optimal location of the receivers of solar radiation - collectors. For collectors operating in Poland in the summer half of the year (IV - IX) the optimal angle of inclination is 30 up to 35 ° and the azimuth of even 30 ° in relation to the south slightly reduces their efficiency. For collectors operating in the winter semester (X-III) the optimal angle of inclination is 70 up to 75 ° and an azimuth angle of 10 ° is acceptable. Collectors intended to work all year round should be inclined at an even angle 51 do ±5°. The size of this angle corresponds to the latitude, on which the solar radiation receiver is located. Collectors, in which the maximum heat output is to be obtained in spring and autumn, should be inclined to the horizontal at an angle 50 do 55°.
