Plaster

It is a layer, which is made of mortar or plaster. Plaster, because that's what he's talking about, it is used to cover certain surfaces. They are usually walls, ceilings, pillars, or the columns. They are, of course, related to the external, as well as inside the building. The plaster is designed to protect a given surface against all kinds of weather conditions. This function is performed by external plaster. Moreover, it protects against the action of internal factors, which are related to the room. Among them, it is worth mentioning, for example, water vapor. Plaster also protects the building against fire and gives the aesthetic value of a particular building. It happens, that plaster is treated as a base layer for all kinds of elements, which require a smooth surface. Among them are, for example, ceramic tiles, or polystyrene boards. In this case, cement and cement-lime plaster are usually the most popular. Gypsum is also often used.
