Types of plasterboards:

• Płyty gipsowo-kartonowe wodoodporne (GKBK) – For use in rooms with periodically increased air humidity to 85%, provided that the entire surface is covered with a moisture-resistant material and ventilation is used. The thickness of the plates is 12,5 mm. The cardboard on the GKBI board is green on both sides.
• Płyty gipsowo-kartonowe ogniochronne (GKF) – Panels with the addition of fiberglass for making fire-resistant covers on the load-bearing elements of the building (in rooms with a relative air humidity not exceeding 70%). They are also used in attics. The thickness of the plates is 12,5 mm. The cardboard on the GKF board is gray, and the markings are red.
• Waterproof drywall- and fireproof (GKFI) Boards containing an addition of a water-repellent agent and glass fibers. These types of panels can be used to make fire-resistant covers on the load-bearing elements of the building in rooms with periodically increased air humidity..
• Płyty gipsowo-kartonowe renowacyjne (GKB) – Thickness plates 6,5 mm with a glass-fiber reinforced core and covered with a special cardboard that gives the board high strength. The renovation boards are intended for renovation works and for the construction of arched walls and ceilings (radius from 30 cm).
• Plasterboard floor panels (GKGV) – plates with thicknesses 12,5 mm and more, used as the so-called. dry screed – a floor screed that replaces the traditional concrete screed.
