Mortar

It is a mixture, which consists of water and a binder. The latter element is characterized by this, that it has a fine aggregate. Mortar, because we are talking about it, is a basic product related to construction. Its most important feature is fact, that it has a binding nature. Means, that it goes from liquid to solid. Mortar is used for many purposes. The most important are: combining certain elements, protection of objects against the influence of atmospheric phenomena, joint filling, giving objects an aesthetic appearance, production of building materials. When it comes to connecting elements, the mortar connects the bricks in the wall. Moreover, they can also be elements facing the wall in question with the wall as one whole. Mortar is a building element, which has different properties. It is about this, that it has other characteristics before binding, and quite different. The freshly made mortar has this, that is a consistency, which can be made. In turn, it hardens later, what goes with it, that it becomes more resistant to external factors; it is mechanically strong.
