• Only the thickness of the inner layer should be taken as the thickness of the structural wall.

• The minimum thickness of the external facing wall is 90 mm (thinner layers are considered cladding and are subject to separate rules).

• Warstwa zewnętrzna powinna być podparta na całej swojej długości i na pełnej powierzchni podstawy. With intermittent supports (e.g. on the brackets) all bricks in the support level should be supported on both sides.

• Warstwy zewnętrzne o grubości 115 mm should be anchored at vertical intervals of no more than 12,0 m. If the outer layer of thickness 115 mm is not higher than 2 storeys or what 2 anchored storeys, it may be overhang beyond the support plane to 1/3 its thickness –

• Warstwy zewnętrzne o grubości mniejszej niż 115 mm cannot be bricked to a height higher than 20,0 m and should be anchored at maximum vertical intervals 6,0 m.

• W budynkach o dwóch pełnych kondygnacjach trójkątna ściana szczytowa może być wykonana do wysokości 4,0 m without additional anchoring. The outer layers can be overhang beyond the support contour by a maximum of 15 mm.

• Layers of the masonry structure should be connected with each other with the use of stainless steel wire anchors. The vertical spacing of the anchors should be as high as possible 500 mm, horizontal spacing of no more than 750 mm.

• Najmniejsza ilość kotew drutowych na m2 powierzchni ściany:
– for the walls above 12,0 m above the ground or when the wall joint width is 70-120 mm is used 5 pcs. anchors diameter 4 mm,
– when the slit width is above 120-150 mm is used 7 or 5 pcs. anchors with a diameter of 4 or 5 mm,
– w innych przypadkach – no less than 5 pcs. anchors diameter 3 mm.

• Dodatkowo na narożnikach (building corners, window openings, along the expansion joints and on the upper edges of the outer layers) should be put 3 wire anchors on 1,0 m of corner length.
